Amanda Phillips is the Palm Center's Digital Media Specialist, assisting with outreach on Web 2.0 platforms such as Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube.  She received her B.A. from Rice University in 2007 and is currently a graduate student in the English Department at UC Santa Barbara, specializing in digital media.  Amanda is a contributor to the Academic Gamers blog at Gameology.org and has presented her work at such venues as the University of Florida Conference on Games and Digital Media, the UCSB Research Slam, and the Rice Undergraduate Research Symposium.
